Having served the homeschooling drama community since 2012, Heather provides teaching and personal coaching for those wishing to bring their acting skills to the next level. Heather was trained at The Theatre School, a competitive conservatory in Chicago, Illinois at DePaul University, the former Goodman School of Drama. She specializes in character development, acting technique and theatre production. Heather also specializes in improvisation. She considers improvisation foundational to acting instruction. Instruction flows at the students’ pace and the teaching style encourages the love of learning.
In addition to classical acting instruction, Heather offers additional classes that work with acting instruction in a unique way. Two different Psychology courses are offered. Heather has a Masters degree in Social Work and has worked as a clinical social worker in a variety of settings.
All of Heather's classes can be taken individual or in combination to enhance the experience.
